Phobias – the new blight

Phobias have been with us for a very long time. A phobia, defined as, “an extreme or irrational fear of or aversion to something”, can cause extreme emotional stress and distress and can literally ruin a life. There are almost as many phobias as there are people to suffer them. Visit www.phobialist.com to see the range of phobias that people experience, and the enormous list presented there is by no means complete.
Hypnotherapy has a history of successful treatment of phobias and often one to two sessions is sufficient to deal with the issue. I have worked with a wide range of these problems including Acrophobia (heights), Agoraphobia (open places and sometimes crowds), Claustrophobia (confinement), Trypanophobia (injections), Pteromerhanophobia (flying), Mysophobia (dirt and germs), Trypophobia (holes), Aquaphobia (water), Emetophobia (vomiting), Glossophobia (public speaking) and many more.
Don’t let phobias ruin your life. Contact me to discuss how hypnotherapy may be able to help.
